Great synthesis of the research here! The cognitive preservation benefits from resistance training are often underlooked compared to cardio. I've been doing progressive calisthenics for a few years now since a shoulder injury made barbells dicey, and honestly the functional strength gains from bodyweight work surprise me. The point about just 30-60 mins weekly for max benefits is huge for adherence too.
